i have done this database think its almost the same maybe a few different aspects but same ideas, ive took over at blackburn as i didn't to just watch what happens and prefer to take part. Its very interesting but has one down fall, you are the 1st club with a manager so you get a unfair advantage then a few other teams get managers and so on, what im saying although everything is level some clubs still take longer to find managers ive now played 9 games and 3 clubs still don't have managers so their squads are rubbish! but anyway im still loving it because its like been a kid in a sweet shop!

I have free database and started up as man utd and got an amazing squad of players!! Anyone want my strikeforce?!!!! My free man utd squad

Makes you think, should there be a game mode where ALL the players in the game are without clubs.

If you look in the editors hideaway in fm forums you should find something in there as I think thats where I got it or sortioutsi.net. I don't have time to upload it myself right now, sorry.

Would be a good different option though I've found that too many teams especially Arsenal don't sign very many players!! Was tempted to start a challenge with a free player database game where I holidayed through first season and arsenal finished 4th and sacked Wenger and have squad of youth players and Chelsea's squad is amazing!!
