Based on idea’s generated in kipfizh’s and Jimbokav1971’s threads.
In the ongoing saga that is “The Bandits” the apparent lack of ambition from the chairman has apparently held them back, I will use 5 clubs from the Conference North/South to see how different ratings in both Interference and Ambition affect the club the Chairman controls, and what type of manager he employs. 4 of the Chairman will have extreme Ambition/Interference values and the 5th will have balanced values to form an average rating for comparisons with the extreme ratings.
I will edit each club and chairman so the testing field is relatively even.

Each Chairman has a CA of 100 and a PA 150, and a reputation of 1
Each Chairman has all other attributes at 0 except Derek Goodall who has 10 in every attribute, and will represent the control group chairman.
I will see how each Chairman influences club buying policies, club ambitions and Manager tenure, and will post each season’s changes and Board Expectations.
The season has officially started and the preset values have remained.
Derek Goodall is the most balanced and i expect him to cause the least problems for his managers.
Looking through the Chairman, i think the other stats that will have the most bearing on how they relate to the club staff will be Patience and Temperament with lower values here boding ill news for the future managers.
Yeading were the first hire a manager on 4/7/06, poaching Cardiff’s AM Terry Burton to do so. With excellent Man Management, Youth and Judging Skills he should do well at the club, his reputation is listed as National
Hayes hired Bristol City’s AM Keith Millen on 12/7/06. Millen isn’t as talented as Burton and is only known Regionally.
Nuneaton was the next to hire a new manager on 16/7/06 in the form of Burnley’s Scottish AM Dave Kevan. Similar to Millen on talent and is also only known Regionally.
Redditch hired Luton’s Coach Brian Stein on 20/7/06, again a Regional showing here with an average skill set.
Trailing the leaders Bishops Stortford hired Swansea’s AM Kevin Nugent on 31/07/06, he has above average skills but again a Regional reputation.
Conclusions so far.
The least ambitious Chairman have been the slowest to hire New managers, this may be a coincidence, but in future seasons i will be able to check the time taken to replace sacked managers to see if that trend continues.
