Late Injury Hits England
Today it has been revealed that Newcaslte's Kieron Dyer recieved an twisted knee in training on the day of friendly with Israel.
This would have causes Kieran Freemantle a headache but he has given David Dunn of Birmingham a late call-up and is on a flight to the middle east.

Wednesday 16th Feburary 2005
Israel vs. England
Ramat-Gan, Ramat-Gan

England had to play in warm conditions in Israel. This would give England a good warm-up, a good team to play against but they are not the ultimate side.

Line-up
Israel

DR Ilan Bakthar
DL Dedi Ben-Dayar
DC Uri Uzar
DC Arik Benado
MR Guy Tsarfati
ML Idan Tal

England at the start of match attacked with ease. On the 12th minute Kieran Richardson lobbed the ball over the Israeli keeper and brought England into the lead.
England kept attacking and on the 39th minute Rio Ferdinard was foaled in the area and Richardson scored a penaty and got his second goal.
In second half England and Israel made subtaintions. On the 52nd minute was scary moment for England during a Israeli corner. Carlo Nash saved the ball and Beckham smashed it upfield and into safety.
In the 71st minute James Beattie was brought down in the area. Kieran Richardson had the change of a hatrick: sadly Davidovic saved the ball.

A good result for England in the end.

This was a match England should have won. Finland only had one good change in the match and that was at the beginning of the match.
In the first half all of England's changes came from Matt Jansem; sadly he was able to finish them.
In the Second Half England had more changes but didn't get a goal.
But at the end of the match Ferdinard was sent-off for being the last man.

Finland 0
England 0

Wright 6, Kenton 7, Bridge 7, Campbell 7, Ferdinard 6 off 90th min, Pennant 7 ( Gerrard on 77 min 6, Richardson 6 (Beattie on 56 min 7), Carrick 7, Dyer 8*, Smith 6 (Davies on 65 min 6), Jansen 7

Monday 6th 2005
In training Emile Heskey suffered fractured ribs and would be out for 2 weeks. Freemantle has called up Shola Ameobi of Newcastle to replace him.
