In his short time in the North-East he has preform well and is a good replacement for David James who is now retiring.

He has done well for Everton and is hoping to get to play for England this summer.

Defencers

Darren Kenton 8 Caps, Age 29, Southampton

A very expensive left back and is about to play in other postitions if need be.

Another Man Utd defencer who normally a centre-back who is also a left back. Very good with a bright futher.

[i]Sol Campbell[/b] 75 Caps, 2 Goals, Age 33, Arsenal
A world class defence who is possibly going to play in his last ever compitition. He has helped Arsenal win the League and winning the Euro Championship tourament would be a perfect end to the season.

Rio Ferdinard 71 Caps, 2 Goals, Age 29, Man Utd
England captain and a world class centre, what more can be said?

John Terry 12 Caps, Age 27, Chelsea
Another good centre back and captain of Chelsea. He may be the second choice after Ferdinard and Campbell but will be important.

Midfielders

Steven Gerrard 48 Caps, 6 Goals, Age 27, Liverpool
A worldclass midfield and a first choice for the first team. He is captain of Liverpool and played a lot of matches in the season.

Jermaine Jenas 18 Caps, 1 Goal, Age 25, Newcastle
Play's well and good for England. A good player for Joop Hiele and Kieran Freemantle

The Sunderland Vice-Captain is very under new management, but has been threw into the deep end of the England squad.

Michael Tonge 1 Cap, Age 25, Man City
A left midfielder who has done well for mid-table Man City. He can play in the centre as well.

Kieron Dyer 40 Caps, 4 Goals, Age 29, Arsenal
The move to London was great one for this great player. He has won the league and has the world of football at his feet.
