England ran Malta ragged. The Maltese didn't even get a shot or an attack.
Dyer throughout this match kept on scoring. He did 9 shot, 5 of them on target.
Dyer's efforts were rewarded on the 34th minute. England got a throw in which Johnson took. He gave the ball to Ameobi. Ameobi flicked the ball to Pennant who crossed it into the ball and Dyer scored a vollery.
Owen also played well today. He scored 2 goals. The first came on the 40th minute Giglio took out Ameobi's legs. 3 Maltese players got yellow cards. Owen took the penalty and put the ball in the top right hand side of the net.
The second of Owen's goal came two minutes later. Hargreaves did a long ball which Ameobi he crossed into the area. Dyer kicked the ball but it bounded off the keeper and then he crossed it over and Owen ran scored his 30th goal for England.
Owen could have had a hattrick on the 45th minute but was disallowed because Ameobi was offside.
In the second half things went from bad to worst for Malta when on the 54th minute Bogdanovic was sent off when he argued with the ref and got a second yellow card.
Terry was taken off on 83th minute with an ankle injury and England were left with 10 men because Freemantle used up his substitions. However this didn't stop England scoring when during a corner Thompson crossed the ball and Ferdinard headed it in.

Dyer got man of the match and Owen, Ameobi, Ferdinard and Hargreaves were strong perforners as well. The whole England team played well.

Bosnia may as well not have bothered showing up and just give England the 3 points. But Bosnia did need the points to try and get a playoff place.
Bosnia only got one shot and that was a freekick which Wright easily saved.
The first England goal was on 14th minute. Hargreaves tried to give the ball to Cole but the had to header it forward to Beckham. Becks crossed it to Cole who scored a very powerful shot and had a good start for England debut.
Cole got a second on the 23th minute. Beckham was given the ball by Kenton. Beckham ran into the box and took a shot from angle and the goalkeeper pushed it away. Luckily Cole was there to poached a goal.
On the 35th minute their was another England goal. Hasagic kicked the ball out but Dyer headed it forward to Cole and he scored another goal and got a hatrick on his debut.
Dyer got another assit on the 42th minute when he gave the ball to Hargreaves who was in box at the corner. He scored an fantasic goal that the goalkeeper was helpless to stop.
The final England goal came on the 43th minute when Kenton longballed the ball to Jansen who headed it to Richardson. Richardson controled it and went into the box and scored a goal when his was one-on-one with the Bosnian keeper.

This was a great game for England. Cole had the perfect debut and birthday present and deserved to win man of the match.
No player got below a 7 but the only more noticable players were Richardson, Hargreaves, Beckham and Kenton.

Wright 7, Kenton 8, Ball 7, Terry 7 (Wright on 74th min 7), Ferdinard 7, Beckham 8, Richardson 9 (Rooney on 74th min 7), Hargreaves 8 (Vernazzo on 63th min 7), Dyer 7, Cole 10 mom, Jansen 7
