Since I won first shot at CL title- haven't made it out of 2nd phase Group Play. Scotland job hasn't opened up since start of game- no matter that they haven't made it into Euros or World Cup (Dalglish is good at behind the scenes politics I guess )
Still plugging away at Motherwell though...

I've noticed (in CM 03/04 at least) that international managers seem to be sacked far more often if they actually make it to a major competition and don't quite perform when they get there than if they just don't qualify at all!

in division 2 now with Dumbarton, after getting the chop at Fort William and taking a small detour with Southport. 2006-2007 season and got a pretty decent team together. The all scot side isn't quite there though - will return in two weeks

Thanks for posting the updates guys - it saves me a lot of time
In my own game with Celtic I have won the SPL and reached the UEFA Cup Semis but not getting anywhere in the CL. And Berti seems to be impossible to shift from the Scotland job no matter how bad the results.

Quick update to how mine came to skip a few seasons- I got tired of wading through each season waiting for Dalglish to finally get the axe- so I resigned and went on Holiday until he was finally fired from Scotland job. My rep still allowed me to gain the job then and the story continues from now on with match highlights (as I am only managing the National-B-Under 21 sides).

Been a while since we updated I guess. Finally managed to win the CL with Forfar, and have guided Scotland to the World Cup Finals, which take place at the end of this current season. The story still has a min of three years to run, because this time I'll run it to win the Euro's, and mibbe get 10 in a row in the league |

Same update as previously for me
Winning the SPL again yada yada, winning one or other or both of the domestic cups from time to time and still trying to get back to the final of the CL after our one appearance there...we'll win it this season though cos PSV failed to qualify from their group :p
As for Scotland, I might go for that part of the challenge or not - it's kind of a given I reckon once you win the CL with an all-Scots side and I don't want to resign from the Faroes |

All going wellish, had a great season 2007-2008 in Division 2 with DUmbarton, and beginning to purge evil foreigners from the side ever so gradually. Got along way to run yet :p
