GL: It is amazing. Siegen had to go through the Inter-TOTO just to get here and now they’ve won the entire thing along with the German title. Manager von Mannstein has really turned some things around since coming and is rapidly becoming a new deity to the local fans.
DM: This is really an amazing story. From being a club nobody outside of Germany had ever heard of they now stand with a major trophy and the spoken ambition of winning the Champions League. Question is if they can do it.
GL: They might need a player or two, but I’m confident that they have a team strong enough to make an impact. We will know in a couple of months.
