One thing that I have noticed is that players on youth contracts who are yet to sign a pre-contract, or professional terms will often not move for any amount of money. When they have signed a professional contract, they wil then move for pittance.
For example, Jonathan Dos Santos of Barcelona starts the game on a youth contract. I approached him in hope of signing him. The basic wage offered was sevral thousand. A couple of days later, he signs a professional contract with Barcelona and snubs me. The contract was worth just a few hundred pounds. After this was signed, I made an enquiry into the player, in which a fee was negotiated. The Dos Santos had decided he was happy to join me after all and for just a few hundred pounds.
This is area of the game needs re-tuning.
