Default A-League salary cap

To anyone who can answer this, what is the format for the salary cap in the a-league? The cap increases every once in a while, but inconsistently , and it is impossible to know when it is going to change. So, does the a-league cap go past $42,000 a week? If so, when? How many times? And, is the salary cap ever removed?

Being an Aussie I have to say that I havent ever encountered the cap raising. Ive played four seasons so far with my home town Jets. We have a cap that doesnt include marquee players. So top earner doesnt get taken into account. I'm pretty sure there arent any concessions in place to allow an increase at any time. In previous versions it did, and rose after a few years to a staggering 54k(AUD) per week. But in 08 I havent noticed it yet. Which season are you in?

Go you Jets!

It'd be nice if infantile leagues like the A-League could grow in the game--increased salary caps and possibly its eventual removal, youth/reserve structures, and especially additional teams...but that last part might be a bit difficult to predict or generate in a realistic manner with the game engine.

Having not played in the A-League in FM08 yet, I can't comment on whether the cap does increase or not.
