Ok not quite sure what tactic people are going to say is wrong and my fault and all that but has anyone else noticed defenders surprisingly often have a very strange game. For example every goal I conceed is proceeded by the line "player was to blame for that goal" or "player's poor clearance led to that goal" but if you watch the game they make some strange decisions.
For example I was watching one game and the striker rounded my centre back, Fair enough he isn't very quick it happens and sometimes defenders do give up but this was even weirder he was on the corner of the 18yard box the striker cuts inside and run's at goal so my centre back sprints full tilt at the corner flag? Of course the striker nets a goal rather easily he had effectively scared my defender away but then I got the line "Evan's mistake is to blame for that goal." ok getting turned inside out is a mistake but forgetting where the goal is located is not a mistake its either blindness or a rather worrying concussion.
whats with my defence?
