Has anyone else had this happen? France are holding a friendly on 20th August the same day I am playing a Premiership match. Not only that, but they initially had an Olympics game planned for the same day which was then moved to the day before with some players who appear to have played for both France in China in the Olympics then in France against Sweden the next day!
Imagine my surprise then when half way through the Olympics a couple of my players who were not called up for the Tournament then mysteriously managed to be added to the Under 23's squad. Take Bakary Sagna. on 16th August he played for us on the right side of defence, yet on the 19th he played in the Olympics despite the fact he was not on international duty and was not in the original squad and was not called up?
