i use a small database, but include a few ddt files.

i do this to have some control over population growth.

I play with small database because I hate waiting in between games, having small database speeds it up slightly

I play with a small database because the leagues I run are all I require, and I run quite a few so on my laptop it helps. thats what the option to choose your leagues is for.
