This game is absolutly doing my head in now. I am a FM obsessive and I love getting in from work and relaxing playing this game. However, FM 08 has ruined this completely. First I thought i would take on the challenge and spent hours and hours trying to create my own tactic tweaking everything i could think of but with no luck. Next i tried using other peoples tactics and tweaking them too but still no luck. No matter what i seem to do i jus cant get on with FM08. Ive even tried being the big top 4 with the best players in the world and still, no tactic that works. I beg of the day that DIABLO is brought back! This game is too much like a tactical game. FM used to be all about getting a nice tactic but having to biuy the right players (thats all diablo needed).
With all this said, im seriously thinking about giving up playing this game even though i really dont want to. Can anyone help me change my mind or does anyone know of a DIABLO type tactic to this years FM.
Sorry to those of you think im just being moany but i have spent too much time of frustration on a game that shud be played for a chill out.
Try looking for the Fiora2 tactic on this forum. It helped me get a good start with Liverpool. If you still want to create a good tactic, remove all creative freedom for team & individual player setings, set long shots to rarely for all and play narrow. You will still see the same old bugs but you should see ti a lot less than before. Upto now I can't find an FM07 tactic that worked on FM 08 so maybe why you ran into difficulty as the match engine is a lot different this time around.
