I'm in my second year as Chelsea manager and am looking to offload some talent for some much needed transfer $. Essien can fetch me over $70m, and I'm looking to replace him with the 6'3 Diarra, or the intense leader Palombo.
I'm torn as to who to take, especially since Diarra comes about $15m cheaper. I'm enamored with the idea of Diarra's height and great header ability patrolling the defense in a holding position, but the leadership qualities of Palombo seem too good to pass up.
Who should I go with? Should I forget both and keep Essien? What do you think?
