Hi everybody!

I am working on a very important print project and the deadline is on tuesday. When I opened my *.psd files last night an error appeared at the end of the "Reading Photoshop format" progress:

The files can't be opened anymore...
I really need those files working for I don't have the time to re-do them. Can the files be recovered? (WinXP no-SP, Photoshop CS)

Quick help appreciated!

neoflox, can you open any other PS files?
If you have the problem with all of your files, then you might consider to reset your preference file (ctrl+shift+alt during start) or reinstalling Photoshop.

I can open other psd's. It is very weird why only the three most important files of my project are damaged...
I tried to copy them into another direction - thought i'd might be something with my hard disk sectors - but all the same that way.

But thanks for the hint! More ideas?

Go to http://s9.yousendit.com/

Fill in recipient's E-mail address with: -edited- (copy/paste)

and fill in "Select File to Send" with one of the files (preferable the smallest one) you have a problem with, click send and wait until you see a message that it's done uploading the file (can take a few minutes).

This way I can have a look at it, that is of course, if you're willing to use yousendit.com to send me one of these files.

I got several tools that might fix your file, but without an example I have no clue whether they will be successful.

Thanks for that offer - but after several re-installs of ps it works now again...I am happy for two people now but i have to kick some of my buttocks to handle coming back into schedule...
