Thanx again for the info you all posted.
To reply to JoeD, I meant general autoshapes, not scorpion autoshapes. When I saw what Welles created, I thought to myself "now how do I go about creating that?" Answer: I used an autoshape then used the Transform in the edit menu to skew it! It worked! Now I just have to go through the other autoshapes afigure out which ones I want to use!!
And to reply to Welles, thank you for the ideas!
One last thing, I am trying to create (from scratch) an XP bootscreen! I have already made one with a pic that I got free from the net. I got permission from the author to use it, as long as I gave her credit for the artwork. Still, the whole kit and caboodle isn't completely mine. I just used something that someone else created, and put it into something that the creator didn't do yet!
Now, I am on my way to making that crucial "Original Creation by mflintjer". Right now I have PS open and am currently working on it! When it is done, I will post a reply to this forum topic with the picture for all to see! I will also post a hyperlink to the site that it will be available at for free!! Yes I said for free! I believe that just because I created it, doesn't mean that everyone else can't enjoy it too!
Once again, Thanx for the info, and I hope to be done with it today sometime (right now the Steelers are stomping on the Eagles -- Hell YEAH! at about 1:30 p.m.). So be sure to check back again to see the pic!!

I wondered because there is something in the Windows world which is associated with PowerPoint and called AutoShape. While I have MS Office, I never use PowerPoint. \:]

To reply to JoeD's staement -- yes default shapes in PS!
Also, I finally figured out on my own how that "Pen Tool" works -- very powerful!!

Yep, it does look good! I just wondered if the light burst were a little bigger so it showed a little bit under the lower legs if the scorpion might stand out a little more. Nice job! [righton]

I already sent copies to friends and family -- just waiting to hear what they have to say!
On the vectoring issue, that pen tool is very helpful and powerful! I didn't know what that thing was for before so I never used it. You can bet your sweet bippy that I'll be using it more often from now on!!
Oh, before I for get, I have posted the original creation at the hyperlink below. There is a Wallpaper, an XP LoginScreen and an XP BootScreen that you are welcome to use if you wish.
