currently playing at Liverpool, messing around with what was basically a perfect central midfield to begin with. I'm looking for a replacement for Alonso, who wanted a new challenge so I sold him to Valencia.

I play a Chelsea style 4-1-2-2-1. if I bought Banega, as he's not a great defender but a nice passer, I think I'd put him at MC next to Gerrard, with Mascherano(sp) moving back to the holding DMC. if I got Palombo I'd stick him in Alonso's place at DMC and leave Mascherano at MC.

I have Sissoko and Lucas ready to back them up.

I can get both Palombo and Banega for basically the same price, and although I keep hearing great things about Banega, Palombo's attributes are hard to pass up. ideas, opinions?

go for banega his defensive stats improve loads if u put him on a good defensive training schedule
