Default The sleeping giants - Italy

Over the years of CM and FM, I've noticed that a lot of teams that used to be big have fallen down to the lower regions of the Italian Leagues for a reason I cannot find.

This challenge is about awakening the 'gems that were' and take them back to where they once were.

The rules to this challenge:
- You must take control of one of these 10 clubs:
C1/A
- Venezia
- Padova
- Cremonese
- Pistoiese
C1/B
- Perugia
- Ancona
- Foggia
- Salernitana
And for the real die-hards
C2
- Reggiana (C2/B)
- Nocerina (C2/C)

- Game must have all the playable divisions in Italy.
- Any database size can be used.
- Any other nation(s) can be selected.
- No editing allowed, use the original or updated databases.

Players can sign up by posting a screenshot of their managing profile in here and they will be listed as a competitor.

This challenge is completed once you manage to qualify for Europe through the league two times. (NOT through the cup). EURO Vase qualification will only be taken into account if you manage to qualify for the UEFA-Cup. If that's not the case, this doesn't count.

Kindly post your progress in this thread, people will be interested in how well you are doing!

Hadn't looked at the italian lower leagues for a while, didn't realise how far they have fallen! Think I'm gonna fire this one up now

May I suggest you add Cavese to your list?
They once beat Milan at San Siro (1-2) in serie B.

Venezia went bankrupt a few years ago after they dropped out of Serie A and their owned fecked off taking most of the money and players, they are basically a new 2 year old team.

Because they beat Milan does not make them a sleeping giant.

I just started a game with Venezia after my missus picked them for me. Will keep you updated with my progress
