Sorry to post this reply, but I believe this is important for us.
I'll write something I'm thinking below.
First, I see that this forum contains so many great challenge. Please note that everybody are a winner and everybody have done their best to make a challenge, to do a challenge, to make sign-up thread, and, the most important, to share their own ideas.
But it seems that everything don't go so well. An example is when a person posts his challenge. At first, it seems great, i.e. others appreciate his ideas and begin to do the challenge. But after some times, it stops. Nobody makes any updates. The reason is that the starter of the challenge doesn't pursue his own challenge and that the others find another challenge they find more special and more challenging. I'm personally sad to see this pity condition.
I want to share my opinion, lads. Personally, I don't want this forum becomes full of uncontinued challenges. Indeed they will be automatically locked after 3 non-active months, but personally, I'll find it "ridiculous" to see so many challenges locked.
So, my suggestion is as follows.

As Ter has said
here, put some thoughts before you post your challenge.

It's better to put something special in your own challenge. See some challenges in this forum and see if your idea has been taken by another person.

Think: if you were someone else, would you do your challenge?

Do your challenge and persuade others to follow your challenge. Tell them that your challenge is the greatest challenge ever! And give a proof why you say that.

Regarding to the 2nd point, I want to put some remarks.

If I can give you an advice, please don't create a challenge almost the same as another challenge already made. Personally, I find that the challenge created by Dafuge is a great one for the English league -indeed since many people here live in U. K. and it's one of the best leagues and it's one of the most attractive leagues in the world. (
Reference.) So, I think it's "useless" to use this format for another country unless you know that many people will be interested to play in that country.

Don't think of creating a challenge like this: Play in Japan, pick one club, and conquer the world. It seems interesting for the first time, but after some weeks, it stops. Why? It's too simple and if the others find a more challenging thread, they prefer that to yours.

What you can do is like what Happy did (
reference) and what Ter is doing (
reference). It's simple, but challenging, i.e. it's bloody hard and gives you a way how you have to learn to be "die hard".

Put something special like Francis did (
reference)or like Jbleeds did (
reference). Which thing is special? They saw something others didn't.

They are my thoughts for now. Indeed maybe someone isn't agree with me, but it's a usual thing. They are just thoughts.
Any constructive ideas will be appreciated. Thanks for reading and forgive me if my English is poor.
