I don't know exactly how long it takes to get approved but if you are looking to start a sign-up I think that it will not be approved at the current time.

If you were planning on doing a sign-up then I would suggest taking part in one where there are free spaces (see vacancies thread) and see how things work and the amount and time & effort required to run a successful one since you are still new to the forums (welcome btw ).

If it was a challenge you were looking to start (don't think they need approving), then look at a few of the current ones and previous ones that are at the bottom of the page for ideas and to see how they have been started as a good opening post is required.

I've just noticed that this forum is also for "holiday game". What is it?

Holiday Games are games that are put on holiday to see the outcome of certain events.

For example, someone may add some forum-ites to a game and holiday it too see where they may end up. Likewise, this could be used with an edited database where teams are put in different leagues and then the game is put on holiday to see where the teams end up, how they fare etc.

One problem with all the new challenges and sign ups now is there isn't much original about them, some seem to be started up just for the sake of it, rather than because its a new and interesting idea.
