Forza Hellas – 1985: The Year of the Miracle (Challenge)
In the last thirty years only eight clubs can claim to have won lo scudetto. The two giants of Milan and the powerful Agnelli family of Juventus have been the most successful in that time, along with Rome and Lazio too taking the championship back to the capital. Driven forward by the great Maradona Napoli were champions twice and in 1991 Sampdoria won the title.
However there is another team that were champions of Italy in that time, but you won’t find them in todays Serie A or playing all over Europe during the midweek evenings. Instead they are now languishing in Serie B and are no longer even the best team in their own city, never mind the country. I give you Hellas Verona.
The challenge is quite simple to explain. You have to repeat the miracle of ’85 and win Serie A with Hellas Verona once more and also win the World Cup with Italy with at least five players from Hellas Verona in your starting eleven.
The only real rules are not to blatantly cheat and change anything in the editor to make the team better than they are.
The only essential settings for this challenge are running Italy down to Serie C2 and if you want to play with more leagues running then that's up to you.
When you start off Hellas are pretty rubbish and with teams like Juventus, Napoli, Genoa, Bologna, Brescia in Serie B this year it’s a very tough league.
