Jep as we start with no assistant manager are we allowed to re-sign Pako? He is available and will sign.
| Oh yes - got Pako as my assistant
About the only one of the old guard who would come back though </BLOCKQUOTE>
I got him. It is tough to sign players. Tried ex-players, no chance. You know it's gonna be hard when a 36yo Carlos Roa turns you down!
You don't start with to bad a squad though. 2 decent centre halves, 2 decent central midfielders and 2 decent strikers. So you get a spine it's just the rest you need to improve on. If I manage to get a decent keeper in I reckon I should do ok. </BLOCKQUOTE>
benoit costil wil cost you arond 30k and he is quality

Jep did you create a tactic for FM07 like you did for 06? I used that to great affect on occasion and was just wandering if you had for this version.
theboydonegood I'll have a look at Costil and let you know if he comes or not.

ok, so i have cruised to the league one title totally reliant on anderson and fowler who managed to stay fit all season. bit worried about the championship but i have got £10 million in the bank, just waiting now to find out how much i get to spend. Dont want to spend lots of it as i think with my reputation as a club partially restored i should be able to get some good players in on season long loans

| I think this is where the challenge will really get interesting, once you get to the championship. What are the board expecting - mid table or promotion ?? (please god let it be mid-table as we will need a season to settle down)
Currently sat top with 10 games to go in first season. Got an 11 point cushion over Wrexham after we capitulated over christmas and got 9 points out of a possible 24
However, my good early form has kept us up there and I fully expect my young bucks to stay there.
Need to bring more experience in during the summer, and a touch of quality. Going to have to get rid of some of the kids too as they just aren't good enough to progress |

Right, i am three games into the championship season. Signed a fw freebies including Sol Cambell, just filtered search by international caps and offered loads of short term deals.
Also signed georgio Wijihlm or someone and aaron nunez for valencia for a combined £2.5 million.
I have no transfer budget left now and after 3 games have won 2 and lost 1

Thanks Jep. I'll give it a try as my normal system requires better players than I have.
