Default Bottom at Christmas Challenge.

Being bottom at Christmas is horrible. The fans turn on the manager, and the players. The players turn on each other. The players turn on the manager. You just stuck. It is almost impossible. Only one team in the Premiership's history has done this. And iirc it was Portsmouth. But this took an amazing late run of form. So how hard is it to do this...

The Aim

To keep the club, who was bottom of the Premiership at Christmas, in the division.

What To Do

You must load up a game, with any leagues you like running. But you must have the Premiership running for obvious reasons. You must then create an unemployed manager. Call him whatever you choose. He will just be retired. I like to call mine "John Smith" You must then go on holiday until 25th of December 2006.Now you must reitre "John Smith".You now must add a manager to the club which is bottom of the Premiership at Christmas. Now you keep them up

The Rules

No using unofficial editing tools that will give you an advantage. Eg. FM Genie Scout or FM Modifier.Player naming is allowed. Just a warning for those who do not want to see it.Tactical disscussion is allowed. Just a warning again. At the end of the challenge. You must post the Premiership table. And how the season went.

When you get to 25th of December, you must post a screenshot of the Premiership table, as proof of the bottom team.

How to Post a Screenshot

1. While in FM, press the 'Prt Sc' button (usually next to F12 on your keyboard).

2. Open an image editing program such as Paint and paste the image

3. Save the file as a JPEG

4. Upload the image to an image hosting website such as Photobucket or Imageshack

5. Post the direct Url to the image here.
Thanks to Dafuge for that.

So, lets do the impossible and keep 'em up

And previous experience can be anything you like. I like to do International Footballer, as I see myself as one.

And you may use any official DB. You may also use the Weegie update.

Its a Database, that is updated from the end of may. So Derby, West Brom, and Sunderland are in the Premiership etc.

You'll find it in Editors Hideaway.

I see. I've started my game up, and is it ok if I start in Brazil (December 2006), I not sure about the exact date there though.

Yes sure. I just went on holiday, because there will be signings then. Where as for you there will not be.
