Hi guys this is my 1st challenge so hope you like it.
The aim
The aim of this challenge is to win the domestic title, cup and champions league using only player names which use the same letter as the team you are using. E.g. Fulham - 'Rio Ferdinand', Real Madrid - 'Thomas Rosicky' etc.
The rules and regulations
You may load any size database
You can choose between the english, scottish, italian, spanish, portugeese, dutch, german premier leagues and can have any team from in these leagues.
You may also run as many leagues as you want at once.
> Player naming and tactics are allowed (this is a warning to those who don't wish to see this)
>The challenge continues until someone wins the treble in their chosen league and the winner is the person who does it in the least amount of time.
>Screen shots must be posted to prove success. ask if you need to know how to do this.
>You start the game normally (June 06)
Good luck with the challenge if anyones interested?
From experience people enjoy challenges that are new and with fresh ideas and your challenge fits that bill. However they also like challenges that are reasonably realistic an don't place to many restrictions on how they can play. While your challenge is an interesting idea for me it would make playing the game less enjoyable by being so restricted. If you look at the most successful challenges (ie. dafuges' etc.) they place very few restrictions on the way you can play the game.
This is not having a go at you but i feel that people aren't interested in this sort of challenge because they don't like being so restricted and you can see this from the number of challenges recently that simply haven't taken off. It's my view that we are not going to see another successful challenge for a while because of a few reasons:
a) Most people interested in challenges are already in one
b) Dafuges challenge was incredibly fresh and interesting back when FM06 was out and thats what got people interested. They weren't heavily restricted but at the same time the could compare progress with each other and any new challenges now seem to have strong restrictions
It's a nice idea to try but quite simply people aren't interested in new challenges because they aren't particularly exciting to play.
