Hi people and welcome to my sing up. First the entire story so far.

May 12. 12 noon
Just a week after Manchester United had a 2-2 draw against Chelsea. Manchester United look to have the title sewn up being 2 points clear of Chelsea.

May 12. 2pm
With the teams just announced it looks like Manchester United have given up the title to Chelsea as they have got half of the reserve team playing. With Manchester United missing Wayne Rooney, Edwin Van der Sar, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs to unknown circumstances, Chelsea are odds on to keep the quadruple hopes going and winning the Premiership for the third time running. Chelsea’s line-up consists of all the big names: Petr Cech, John Terry, Frank Lampard, Michael Ballack, Michael Essien, Joe Cole, Andriy Shevchenko and Didier Drogba, this could become the one of the greatest final day of the Premiership in history.

May 12 4:45pm
Chelsea successfully retain the Premiership after winning a massive 4-0 with Didier Drogba scoring a hat-trick and Frank Lampard scoring a 35 yard screamer against Everton goalkeeper Richard Wright. This result has also affected Everton as they have missed out on an Uefa Cup place with underperforming Tottenham Hotspur nicking 7th place by 1 point by beating Manchester City 1-0. Manchester United have lost against West Ham United 2-0 with a double salvo from Argentina wonderkid Carlos Tevez. With this result West Ham United have survived relegation on goal difference with Charlton losing to Liverpool 3-0, and Sheffield United losing to Wigan 2-0. This means that West Ham United stay up by 1 goal from Sheffield United. The bottom of the table looks like this:

May 19
Manchester United have just beat Chelsea in the FA Cup Final 3-1. This has just spoilt Chelsea’s chance of doing the quadruple this year.

May 20
Chelsea’s chairman Roman Abramovich has just announced the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

May 21
Breaking news hits the world, The FA has just announced that 23 English teams have been reported to have been match fixing. Further investigation will be taken into account and will be informed in the next couple of days.


May 23
The FA has finished the investigation into the match fixing and has announced that all the teams in the Premiership and three Championship teams which are Sunderland, Birmingham and Derby (which all have been promoted) have been found guilty into match fixing. Therefore the actions taken are:
•Sunderland, Birmingham and Derby are not allowed to be promoted and fined £2 million each. No further action will be taken against these teams.
•Watford, Sheffield United and Charlton are not being relegated as no teams from the Championship will be promoted. These teams will be fined £7.5 million each.
•The rest of the teams involved in the match fixing scam will be fined £15 million each.

May 25
All of the teams involved in the match fixing have sacked their managers in a result of the actions of the FA. In the Premiership the actions taken by the FA the chairman of each club has give the players 2 options which are:
•They will be fined a year’s wages.
OR
•They can leave the club.


May 27
Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Portsmouth and Bolton have announced to Sky Sports that all of the players have left the club. We will be awaiting announcements from: Everton, Aston Villa, Reading, Watford, Charlton, Sheffield United, West Ham, Blackburn, Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Fulham, Wigan and Manchester City in the next week.

May 29
West Ham, Everton, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Reading have announced that all of the players have left the club.

June 1
Watford, Charlton, Blackburn, Fulham, Wigan, Manchester City, Middlesbrough and Sheffield United are the last teams to announce that the whole team have left the club. Sky Sports reporter had a quick interview with Manchester City player Joey Barton. He had this to say, “Yes I am really disappointed in Man City and all the clubs involved really. I didn’t think the Premiership was like this at all. The world’s acknowledgement of this league would have gone down after this news of the match fixing scam.”

June 3
A lot of the European players are interested in joining most of the Premiership clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United and City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle. Even though they would like to join these clubs they will want to play for any team in the Premiership.
