Anyone think it's possible to pick a Championship team and eventually win the Premiership without buying a single player? Does a challenge like this currently exist?

football manager is 90% tactics, look at cleon, taking sheff utd to the premiership crown

actually come to think of it i would say its about 65/35 because if you get a world class team, ok tactics, and make them gel they will be very hard to beat

I didn't say lots of players were needed, but it is unlikely that the whole squad will have the potential to be at least good premier division players which are needed to build a title challenge.

And did cleon do that with no transfers?

yeah i suppose, but every game that is played there are perfect tactics for each game, no he didn't but come on he didn't buy torres and players like that did he! i think his best buy was eddie johnson, he is quality but thats just 1 player
