Default San Marino AI Experiment

Inspired by Kipfizh's thread, I decided to see what I could do with the editor.

I decided to edit all the teams from San Marino, giving them all:

£100 million in the bank
£25 million transfer budget
A "Sugar Daddy"
Professional Status
Reputation - 10000
Training - 20
Youth - 20
A youth academy
A maximum attendance of 10 million

I did not adjust the staff nor the stadium.

I also gave the nation of San Marino a reputation of 10000.

My aim is to see whether the clubs expand their stadium and invest in new players.

There are a few questions to consider:

Will the clubs from San Marino have any success in Europe?
Will the youth players coming through the system improve the national team?
Will the national team ever qualify for a major event?
Will players from "big" countries be attracted to play in San Marino?
Will the San Marinese youth players join major clubs across Europe?
Will the national co-efficient improve enough to give extra European places?

I will start unemployed and run the game on holiday. I will load the English, Spanish and Italian top flights and will load all players from San Marino.

I will update at the end of each season.

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Well I want to see how large the stadiums can get. I would imagine the game has a limit set for stadium size.

There are around 12 teams from San Marino - none in any league.

They won't get into Serie A because I don't think they play in the Italian League.
There is an Italian league club called "San Marino" but I have left them alone. Possibly with hindsight I could have improved them too.

Possible Attendance of 10 million lol. Thats about 10 million times the population of San Marino.
Jocking aside i think this a fantastic idea and i am eager to see the outcome. i've read kipzikh's thread and if this is anything like it i will be happy becuase it is superb.
I think that any change will be very slow and as shown by Kipzikh's thread the AI is pretty supid sometimes.I also think that the club San Marino should have been edited becuase this is where the majority of their players come from (maybe only becuase of rep and their training).

If you mean players with high reputations, not likely. You didn't adjust the league rep/standard, which is a very important factor.

I have started the game now.

There are 15 clubs from San Marino, and they all find places in the top 20 of the rich list, with only Barcelona and Real Madrid being worth more.

Rich List

Here are the initial squads of the 15 clubs. There are a few reasonable players, but the majority are pretty poor. All the players are from San Marino.

Cailungo

Cosmos

Domagnano

Faetano

Fiorentino

Fiorita

Folgore

Juvenes

Libertas

Murata

Pennarossa

San Giovanni

Tre Fiori

Tre Penne

Virtus

The experiment has started running and there have been some surprising results already. More to follow when we reach the end of the season.

Probably would have been better to load all the Italian leagues and do the same to the San Marino club side in Italy like you said.

Is the San Marino league in the database? You could have improved its reputation as well. The clubs might just be in 'a lower (or premier) division' if not.

I'm glad you didn't chang san marino in the italian league.

this experiment will be interesting to see how non playable leagues can develop given the right conditions.

The san mariese leage should dominate in many respects in this situation, but as it's a non playable league, how muc change will the game notice?

Is Virtus, Igea Virtus?

If so, they are in the Italian structure, but possibly no longer playable.

What results are available for you to see?

European results? or do they enter some of the Italian Cups?

I suppose you would have had yo load all Italian Leagues for that.
