started this...new weegie update..sitting 4th after 5..2 win and 3draws..
my team looks like this
GK - Given (Harper)
DR - Corluka (Geremi)
DL - Esparza (Pineda)
DC - Pique (Rozenhal)
DC - Taylor (Pineda)
DMC - Barton (Butt)
MC - Arteta (Emre)
MR - Luis Ernesto Perez (Milner)
ML - Modric (Duff)
SC - 2x of either Viduka, Owen, Martins, Iversen, Edu, E.Jonson
signed Pique for 11.25m and Arteta for 10m..spent a combined 39mil on 18players (some youth players included.)

tomexico how did you get corluka a work permit? i tried 4 times to sign him and he was failed intitially and on appeal every time.

didnt see you had edu up front. i had the same problem with him - couldnt get a work permit.

| for both edu and corluka i signed them without the WP and then put them in my reserves for a couple of months, then decided to try and renew their contracts changing the squad status ie. first team to key player they both got WP's

struggling a bit now, beat arsenal 5-2 away from home and end up losing to the likes of man city 4 nil..inconsistancy sucks donkey..owen is poor, viduka has gone off the boil, martins is ****, iversen is yet to score..eddie johnson is my best striker..
arteta is awesome but injured along with modric again..
pique and taylor have been the best defensive partnership i've had, although letting a few goals in

well i think the second time round i've made better signings Transfers In
Using the same tactic as my other save..results for August were *****..1 win and 2 losses.. Squad/Tactic | |

lol stick at it! i use my own (a wary short slick passing tactic which brought me success and wwfan's set of 6 tactics works aswell! never thought about buying arteta... good luck!

Squad/Tactic | good signings, think £10.25m for Giles Barnes is a lot (but he is the reason Derby got promoted so proberly we be a good signing)
unfortunatly i am not doing this challenge as i have a sign up going, but i like to watch the progress of the people taking part
