Hi all, thinking about setting up a start up, and want to have a star player in one of the conference teams, e.g Steve Gerrard playing for Liverpool. Set loyalty to 20, ambition to 1,20 year contract, Set min release fee to 500,000,000, but always the chairman says the offer is too good to refuse. Is there anyway of getting a chairman to STOP!

The otherway round, is there anyway of keeping these stars to the conference clubs??

Try boosting the clubs reputation to make them more attractive.
Lowering the player's reputation will make him less known to other clubs too.

edit the chairmans interference stat etc to a lower number?

search the chairman and go onto non-playing data, the click on the non-tactical attributes then change the attributes for chairman, Interference should be lower if you weant the chairman to keep players

I just realised something...

If I go on holiday mode, the Manager may sell the star players.. I know I can stop players being sold whilst on holiday, but I only want my star players not to be sold, and the others to be fair game... any ideas how to get around this one??
