not a lot to do so could even be October up tonight
September News Chia and
Holiday fire Swindon to the top of League 2. Holiday joins
Goldenballs on 5 goals for the season. Goldenballs' Wrexham also flying high, in 6th. Swindon also came mightily close to a shock win over Birmingham in the league cup, taking a DJ Campbell goal in the 94th minute to win the game 3-2.
Dean Hoo made his senior debut for Vincenza in a 2-0 loss to Juventus in Serie B.
Bennitto also surprislingly makes his senior debut in the top league of Serie A, due to an injury to striker Giacomazzi, who is expected to be out for at least a month, giving Bennitto a run in the team, which to be fair, he hasn't taken well. Bennitto also makes his Euro debut in 6-0 aggregate win over FBK Raunus in the Euro Cup.
Danny Anderson suffers another set back at his new club Manchester City, suffering a pulled hamstring to add to his former strained back. However,
Deanus and
Shane Hall guide City U-18s to a 6th place at the end of September.
Cedermaz also suffers a slight injury but his Zaragoza U-18(might be 19 not sure) side sit comfortably in 5th and have drawn Mallorca in the next round.
Socky scores as Newcastle get into the 3rd round of the U-18 cup with a 3-1 victory over Barnsley. This adds to their impressive league form where they sit in 2nd.
However, less pleasing news for other players.
Litvenyenko's Wolves sit in 11th place as well as
Ryan Andrew's West Ham.
Richard Tait goes one worse after his Reading team end the month 2nd to bottom in 12th.
Better news for
In Der Van Dude as he receives tutoring from Daniel Alves. He and his team-mate
Ryan Evans guide Seville U18s into 2nd and have drawn Almeria in the 2nd round, after a solid victory over Valencia.
Pablo Gonzalez ends the month in 9th place as Celta U18s produce some slightly disappointing results.
Transfer Pedromandias receives a more high profile admirer, as Sporting CP declare their interest, without saying wen they'd make an offer.
Gary McNeil also ends the month happier as Fulham add to the growing list of interested teams. Unfortunetly, none have yet made a bid.
Frketic is disappointed as Preston's interest in the player cools, and
Christian Montoni is also without intrest or a club.
Player of the Month
Close call between Bennitto, who made his Serie A and European debut and Stuart Holiday, who has been in fine form for Swindon. Unfortunately for Bennitto, his form has been poor and that means the award goes to Holiday.
