Hi, I've lost the histogram and image adjustment tools when previewing NEF files. The only tools i have when previewing is the exposure compensation slidebar and the white balance dropdown menu.

Has anybody else experienced this? How did you rectify it?

Any help will be appreciated - it's getting very annoying now!!!!

Well i must say i've never seen that problem before welshie.

My first thought is for you to delete or rename your PS Prefs file and let PS receate it. See if that helps.

Looks like you've got the Nikon plug-in installed. You need to uninstall it to have the Adobe Camera Raw instead

well, to be truthful, I don't consider myself a photographer yet. Merely a snapshotter...
Still, I find the subject and possibilities offered by Camera Raw really interesting. (I also compiled the FAQ for the adobeforums.com site )

Pierre I had a friend of mine who owned a photography business for 40 years tell me that " everyone is a picture taker, but true Photographers are rare"
