Mellerud v. Café Opera
Rådavallen

Mellerud recorded their first win in four matches with a solid 2-0 victory over Café Opera at Rådavallen. Ninos Thöre put Mellerud in front in the eighteenth minute. He was allowed plenty of space to move in from the right and curled a shot in from thirteen yards out. Omar Fejzulovski scored the second goal late, as he collected the rebound from David Lundström's speculative 40 yard shot and put it past Matthias Dahlberg.

24th July 2005 - Swedish First Division
Trelleborg v. Mellerud
Vångavallen, Trelleborg

Trelleborg displayed a fighting quality that has been unseen against Mellerud for most of the season, as they fought from a goal down to draw 1-1. An otherwise dull match opened up on 63 minutes when Alex Mabäcker Johansson displayed some of his trademark flair in going around the last defender and rounding goalkeeper Björn Levin to put Mellerud in front.

Trelleborg equalised eight minutes from time through Vitali Gussev. The Estonian international took the absolutely brilliant pass from Gezim Osmani and volleyed it in from just inside the penalty area to the delight of the home supporters.

Mellerud v. Brommapojkarna
Rådavallen

Mellerud needed a late winner from Omar Fejzulovski to take three points from a match that they otherwise controlled. Fejzulovski came off of the bench after an injury to Alex Mabäcker Johansson and scored the goal nine minutes from time. Fredrik Andersson curled a pass beyond Kenneth Sandberg and hit Fejzulovski unmarked seven yards from goal for the simple tap-in.

7th August 2005 - Swedish First Division
Mellerud v. Assyriska
Rådavallen

Mellerud took advantage of two quick goals after the hour mark to defeat nine man Assyriska at Rådavallen. First, Ghassan Heamed was sent off for on a second yellow for dissent on twelve minutes. Right after the break, Rickard Engström was sent off on a second yellow due to a brutal challenge on David Lundström.

It took nearly twenty minutes of playing with the two man advantage, but Mellerud finally broke through. Omar Fejzulovski timed a run perfectly behind the defence and got on a long ball supplied by Alex Mabäcker Johansson and rounded the keeper to open the scoring. It was 2-0 only four minutes later. Henrik Eriksson received the ball on an overlapping run and buried a shot into the roof of the net for his first goal of the season.

Mellerud came away with a victory on the back of three goals in the first half at the Malmö Stadion.

Just before the half-hour, Pontus Andersson took down Thöre in the penalty area. Jon Bergenholtz then buried the penalty and doubled Mellerud's advantage.

Alex Mabäcker Johansson finished the scoring in the 42nd minute. He dribbled through the defence and smashed the ball past Erik Malmgren from fifteen yards out.

21st August 2005 - Swedish First Division
Friska Viljor v. Mellerud
Skyttis IP, Örnsköldsvik

Mellerud turned on the style in their 2-0 victory over bottom side Friska Viljor. The hosts put up a good deal of resistance for the top side in the First Division, but they fell just as many have fallen this season.

Jon Bergenholtz opened the scoring for the visitors in the 25th minute. Ninos Thöre's well placed free kick from the right was headed home by the midfielder.

Alex Mabäcker Johansson added the second fourteen minutes from time. His abilities have quickly made him a legend at Rådavallen and he proved that fact once again. He used his pace to dribble around two defenders, and gathered the rebound after his first effort was stopped by Glenn Schöön and finished well from an acute angle.
