MOVE CLOSE FOR DJORDJIC

Manchester United agree a fee of £210000 for Bojan Djordjic. We have offered him a contract and he could be on board before the Livingston game at the weekend. He is keen on a move to Aberdeen but leaving Man U will be hard so we will have to wait and see if he can agree terms.

FLOOD ARRIVES ON LOAN

Aberdeen have completed the signing of William Flood on a loan deal for the rest of the season. The player who can play in Defence,Midfield or Attack will act as back up but will get some first team experience.Man City see him as a player for the future so we will try and help his development by giving him some top team action.

AYR DEFENDER IMPRESSES GUNN

Aberdeen have made a bid to take Ayr defender Marc Smyth to Pittodrie.Aberdeen have bid 65k for the 22 year old.He is one for the future and if we want to challenge for all the cups we need good back up like this guy.Ayr will want to hold on to their player but may be forced to sell to keep the finances up.

HUNT WONT BE STAYING

Trialist Noel Hunt wont be staying at Aberdeen,After alot of talking with the coaches and assistant it has been decided that we have better options available to us.We will keep an eye on him but wont be making a move in this transfer window.

NEIL LENNON QUITS

Celtics Neil Lennon shocked the football world by announcing this is his last year of football.
He stated that his injury problems were just getting worse so its time to call it a day,His groin is in a bad way with 6 injurys in two years the latest one keeping him out for a month. He has still 2 years of his contract to run but will retire at the end of the season.

ABERDEEN WELCOME DJORDJIC TO PITTODRIE

He will go straight into the squad to face Celtic at Pittodrie on Saturday.
Djordjic is an attacking midfielder that can play on the left or in the centre,He is 22 years old and comes from Sweden.
The signing of Djordjic breaks Gunns previous transfer record that stood at 130k(Paid for Austin McCann.)We are confident that we got a good deal though and only time will tell if we made the right choice.

BART-WILLIAMS RELEASED

We have told Chris Bart-Williams to leave the club,He has been injured for a long time and has been no use to us.We have paid him the remainder of his contract and hope he does well in the future. If his time at our club is anything to go by his new club will need a good physio or have to employ another one.
