This is the list of people who hadn't started a story attributed to award years before 2004. However, some stories were carried over from 2003 (leading to the loss of this "2003" stat), so there might be the odd ineligible person on this list. CMS Awards 2004 - BEST NON-NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKING WRITER, First Round Entry List

Of course, focusing on getting the show on the road, and basing this on the previous two year's awards, I completely forgot we've added an award for the best non-native English speaking writer.

This is new ground for the forum, and the definition of who's eligible hasn't been set in stone yet. No doubt HD, still looking for his maided award, will claim Scots is his native language for instance.

In all seriousness, the general idea behind this award is to give people who may struggle a bit with their English but write interesting stories/storylines nevertheless, the credit they deserve. Nominate who you see fit to fall under this category. After the first round, we'll have a quick discussion on whether or not those with the highest number of nominations should indeed be considered for this award. This discussion will take place among those on the HoF/SOTW panel (might as well keep them occupied, since there's no SOTW election during the awards process).
