Hard to say. Can't honestly be arsed though, the quality of our tale will draw in the punters on its own. |

The Olympic Games were on. Thankfully, Kuwait werent involved. There are some things that are just too much to be asked to do for a job. The I heard worrying news. Al-Quada would be off to the Ukraine in November. It was all fitting together now, the trips to the rich European Principalities, the nuclear technology gained from China, the trip to Ukraine.
My target was planning something big..... really big......

Susie suspected the Olympics would pass peacefully. Abdul had been listed as a coach for the official Iraqi Olympic party so her attendance was mandatory, but it seemed too obvious, it didn't feel right. She had work to do, but this would also be a chance for a little relaxation.
She had spent eighteen months in Athens in her youth, many of those in the company of Kostas, a charming, if somewhat greasy, young man - at least a young man at the time - from Cyprus. It had been a more carefree time, terrorism was a local disease and the global implications had not yet seemed important to her. She lived life to the full and had even had to terminate a pregnancy.
She sometimes thought of the child in her introspective moments and being in Athens once more brought back bittersweet memories, which Susie was inclined to indulge at this particular time. She lay in her hotel room reminiscing of the time Kostas made her earth move. Then the earth moved...violently.

Susie received a State funeral when the pieces of her body that were found returned to the United States. There was much wailing and gnashing of teeth, but as they say in opera, the show must go on.
Representatives of the Iraqi government were in attendance, duly sombre, but of course there were no individuals with links to al-Hussein. None whatsoever.
As the coffin slid into place the earth moved...violently.

The deaths of the high-ranking Iraqi government officials and the President of the United States along with his Chief of Staff and the heads of both the FBI and CIA and the British Foreign Secretary were devastating for those who subscribed to the "we are good, what we do is right" school of thought.
Susie's replacement was a by-the-book type out of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Darryl J. Donaldson III was his name, and his attitude was exactly in keeping with his moniker. Two weeks into the position he'd upset one or two people he ought not to have and a fortnight later he was dead.

It was too obvious now. The same people from China seemed to meet with Al Quada in Hong Kong. What they discuss, I didnt know. There was no way to find out, because I was detained, rather suspiciously by the Hong Kong Police.
The cover of a football coach went on, this time Kuwait won, 1-0. But I knew in my heart, in my gut that this was nothing to do with football.
I just wished to god someone was actually reading this.....

Ahmed paced across his room slowly. Killing Susie had been a wrench, but it provided the secondary opportunity to rid his country of a cancer that was threatening to spread. All his efforts now were for mammon.
The football facade favoured by al-Hussein hadn't carried very successfully. Failing to win any games blew his cover somewhat and as his side headed to Syria, followed by the new kid who replaced Susie, they went not to play but to die.
Ahmed and al-Hussein were on another flight altogether. Side by side they disembarked at Kyiv...
