Wales 1b.
November 2005.
Conference National. Home to Carlisle.
Lost 1-0. Carlisle beat us man for man all over the pitch and we got what we deserved from the match. NOTHING

. We only forced their keeper into 2 saves and even the normally reliable Jonathan Coates had a very quiet game.
Conference National. Home to Farnborough.
Won 3-0. Goals, Carl Wilson-Denis (2), Scott Thyer. A much improved performance but they type that we really need to produce on a regular basis if we are going to progress in this league. Wilson-Denis and Thyer played well together up front and created numerous chances for eachother, with JAFFA

edging the MOM contest.
Newport Co Res 0 QPR Res 2. Sent off, A Trialist.
Conference National. Away to Dagenham & Redridge.
Won 1-0. Goals, Ramon Calliste. A decent if unspectacular away performance, and if I'm hones, a bit of a smash and grab win. Roger Freestone kept the home side at bay for long periods in a MOM performance.

World Cup Qualifying, (Europe) Playoff Leg 1.
Wales 0 Greece 1.
Wales have left themselves with a lot to do after being defeated at home by a solitory goal. Due to a news blackout, I am unable to tell you who played where, or how, however I can tell you that Wales now find themselves with an uphill task if they are to turn this tie around in the 2nd leg, which is to be played in Greece on Wednesday.

World Cup Qualifying, (Europe) Playoff Leg 2.
Greece 0 Wales 3.
Wales overcame the odds and their Greece opponents as they overturned the first leg defecit and booked their place in Germany for next years World Cup. Once agin, due to a news blackout, I cannot bring you any further information at this time, and I very much doubt that if and when I do get to speak to any of the Welsh players, that I will be able to get much sense out of them. An historic day foe Welsh football .

Conference National. Home to Crawley.
Won 2-1. Goals, Jonathan D'Laryea, Nathan Davies. A tight game that we just managed to edge after leadinf and then being pegged back. Jonathan Coates resuming normal service with another MOM performance after a couple of weeks of mediorcity.
Altrincham U18's 3 Newport Co U18's 1. Goals, Sam O'Sullivan.
Leyton Orient Res 1 Newport Co Res 2. Goals, A Trialist, Sam O'Sullivan.
Conference National. Away to Tamworth.
Drew 1-1. Goals, Anthony Pulis. A goal conceded only 2 minutes from time meant that we couldn't increase our winning run to 4, but at least we we are unbeaten now in 4. Jonathan Coates again added the MOM prize to his collection. Ryan Shawcross played well at centre-back and young Alistair John added to gis growing reputation on the right wing.
Conference National. Away to Woking.
Drew 2-2. Goals, Ramon Calliste, Alistair John. With 4 goals scored in the first 13 minutes, the modest crowd of 805 must have thought that they were in for a goal-fest. Unfortunately, that was the end of the scoring as Iraqi keeper, Schwan Jalal impressed in the Woking goal and Roger Freestone was protected sufficiently by a Newport back 4 led by a dominating performance from right back Stuart Jones.
