I'm useless, and Simon's brilliant

One of these statements is false when applied to real life. Can you guess which?

\o/

Centre-half Spav scores with a thumping header (in the style of John Terry, captain of his favourite side Chelsea).

Generic Newspaper Report

James Collins of Crewe has completed a £60,000 move to Conference table toppers FMS. The midfielder has been signed as cover for the prolific winger Furnivall, although he can play across the midfield four.

14th September

FMS 3 - 0 Leigh RMI

FMS had scored less than 3 goals in a game just once in the season so far, and they continued that nice little run at the Homage against the side propping up the rest of the division.

It took 20 mins for debutant Collins, who was filling in for the injured Wrangle, to side foot a calm finish through the legs of the oppostition keeper. The assist was provided by Bagpuss who is having a stunning season so far.

3 minutes later and a resurgent Binny hit a scorcher into the far corner from the left side of the box. The left footed strike was his 5th of the season and he was closing on strike partner Flippers' tally.

The rest of the half saw a mini revival for the visitors, who had two or three excellent chances excellently saved by Dark Soccer.

The second saw the end of the revival, with FMS launching shot after shot on the away teams goal, but some feirce resistance meant that it took the home side until the hour mark to get their third, and it was a low Furnivall cross which found Flippers at the far post for a simple tap in. He simply would not let Binny out do him, and a friendly rivalry had developed between the pair.

The game petered out for the last half hour and another comfortable victory for the table toppers was sealed. PM7 came on for the last 20 minutes and made absolutely no impact, and was dropped from the first team squad altogether.
