I think what makes this story work is that it wasn't so easy once you got to the First Division - you got so close and finally achieved success at the third try. Sometimes we can't help but do well, but it's great when you see someone struggle yet continue to press on.

You're really brave to try to win anything with Maltese players on your squad. And Nicky Laferla...

Well, the ex-Valletta winger never really got a job with anyone. As a matter of fact, as far as I know he retired completely from the game last season or the season before.
