We're halfway through the first challenge of the year, and so this seems like a good time to try a little experiment I've thinking about. The main idea is for people to start thinking about the next challenge already, and to send me challenges for that which I will post here and then we can discuss the pros and cons of each challenge and try to modify them if nessecary to make the winning challenge more interesting. You have until the end of March to submit a challenge and I'll just post the ones people submit here and we can discuss them as and when an idea comes to mind. This may, or may not work, but I thought it was something worth trying. At the end of March, we will whittle down the challenges to four, try and refine them a bit more during April and then vote for the winner. I know this isnt the usual procedure but I'm in charge of the Challenge now and I want to see how this goes.
For this time only, you may submit challenges previously submitted, but which have failed, but they must be your own challenge. You cannot submit someone else's previously failed challenge as if it were your own.
I was thinking of submitting a challenge similar to Soldout's famous one.
The challenge would be essentially based on two footballing neighbours, the domestic football of the one considered to be inferior to the second (e.g. Scotland & England, Portugal & Spain).
You would start at the lowest tier in the weaker nation, and at some point (not entirely what criteria, if any, should be in place), you'd move over to the superior nation, and try to win stuff there.
And of course, the one major catch is that you are called Rashid Anneka, born in Luanda, Angola.
By the way if you have a challenge idea, feel free to post it here without emailing me to get the feel of the forum for it. Eventually I will want any challenge submitted on the formal basis but for now lets just brainstorm.

Could be interesting actually and would allow for variation in the challenge.
I thought of pairing France with Germany
I suppose you could also have:
Belgium/Netherlands (Holland)
Ukraine/Russia
Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia / Brazil, Argentina
Finland, Iceland (are they in FM2005?) / Norway, Sweden (& possibly Denmark)
There are probably a few more in the Eastern Europe region, but these were just off the top of my mind
