Default Huge loss for a big club

This is not a complain, because I have my way to fix it. I am just pointing something that is funny, to say at least. I've started three games with Monaco, one for every version that came out. In all of them the club is losing 1.5 million every month from the very first month! Hahahahaha! How does this company stay in business in real life?

I know, I know, control the wages, blah di blah, check the bonuses and various other horse manure. The fact of the matter is that if that was anywhere near reality, the club would have declared bankcrupcy in October 2007. I checked this morning and the club still exists. So my wild guess is that the figures in the game are wrong.

The currency is euro. Funny how the english didn't want euro and euro (championship) doesn't want them hahaha! Only joking.

You might want to check if they have any outstanding loans. They may be losing a lot of money due to paying these back.

In real life Man Utd have a £600m loan debt. In the game they also have this and it causes them to pay out £4m a month in loan payments and interest. This means you need to be very careful with your finances but it's completely realistic.

My friend chopper, what is completely (!) realistic? That a business is losing 1.5 million every month and survives? I am saying that this happens from the first month, it has nothing to do with my management. How much are you prepared to defy logic in order to defend a game?

Football clubs do lose money!

Bear in mind a club make lose money monthly but the end of season bonuses and sponsorships may make up the deficit.

Not only football clubs lose money but they also don't care. Actually, the board just love the team so much that they cover the debts from their own accounts.

Also, all the americans are buying the english clubs not because a football club is a succesful business but because they just love the game.
