personally i have never seen my strikers round the goalie since fm07....is this a bug or they just don't show it in the match engine?

i had david suazo do it once to then only miss the open net are perfectly rounding the keeper

i had exactly the same thing. owen rounded once and missed a clear open goal. once in more than 100 games.

Conversely, I had only seen it happen once in 07, but a few times in 08.

3 of my strikers do, 7 don't.

I'm still trying to identify what makes them 3 do it and the others shoot when they see a rushing out keeper.

Mind that 2 of the ones who don't are fairly adept at slotting those shots when they're really clean on target.

Yep they must have ticked "dont ever run round the keeper" eh ?

I agree, too many one on ones, and the majority of them the striker will shoot from outside the area.

Dunno if this is counting as rounding him but i have had strikers dribble away from the goalkeeper to the side before sending the ball into an empty goal.

Never seen it happen. All my strikers shoot straight at the keeper and occasionally get a rebond then someone like a defender comes along and scores.
