Hullo, hi. I've been playing as Crystal Palace and some of the lads have done well for me in the old full back position. Notably Aaron Fray and Jeff Hughes. However, they are only valued just over 100k. Whereas Rhoys Whiggins and Tony Craig (who only got a couple of games all season for reasons they well know) are valued around the 1m mark. Is this because of their value as collector's items is increased by the scarcity of public appearance?
My most valuable player, worth £120k, is a striker who has made 3 starts and 12 sub appearances with an average rating of 6.40. My coaches rate him as the 4th best striker in the squad.
My second most valuable player, worth £35k is my club captain who has made 41 starts with an average rating of 7.33. My coaches rate him as a leading star for League 1 (I am in the BSP).
They're all roughly the same age with similar contracts. Premiership clubs have been trying to buy them offering peanuts. They have played week in week out all season with final average ratings over 7. Whereas the other two have done nothing.
I understand the PA but Whiggins and Craig are going no where. Surely any successful Championship full back who has played a full season and is under contract would be valued higher than one that has played in the reserves all season? Or am I missing something?
Currently my most valuable player is a 16 year old who has never played a match in his life. His value is over double that of some of the greatest players in my clubs history.
