what does the error say?

I used to get an application error due to my virus scanner running at the same time. Disable any scans you are running silently or openly.

It sorted out my problem.

It just says application error, but its always on the 10th oct 2008,

Try going on holiday just before the 10th and come back on say the 11th and see if that helps.

P.S posting multiple threads on the same subject will get you into trouble. They don't like that kind of thing.
