Default GAME NOT WIDESCREEN COMPATIBLE. PLEASE HELP.

I have a 15.4" widescreen laptop and when I put FM08 on, the screen stretches, which is really annoying. Does anybody know how to change this on either the game or on Windows Vista???

Dark, can you explain that instruction better please?

I understand that for a game to display "Games For Windows" then it MUST be Widescreen compatible, preferbly without tweaks!

on your desktop shortcut, or wherever your shortcut is, right click on it, goto properties, under the shortcut tab you will see the target the shortcut executes.

for e.g.

mine is
"EProgram Files (x86)\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" -small_screen -windowed

It stated that in Computer Active Magazine.
Have a look at new monitors, they're virtually all widescreen now.

Yup, 22" here runs happily with Vista Sidebar, and laptop runs full widescreen at 1920 x 1200.

what these people are probably wanting is to play in windowed mode, on a widescreen monitor fm dosnt like the widescreen resolutions so stays in full screen
