If you think they are issues, log them in the bugs forum.

If not maybe suggest why these things are happening or maybe what could be done about them to prevent them from happening, or maybe a way for the game to do something better.

Saying something is 'laughable' 'painful' 'ridiculous' doesn't make the post helpful, it just ends up starting an argument of differing opinions.

Its constructive because i'm pointing out problems rather than saying the games crap etc etc etc.

The match experience is not good enough to physically sit and watch it whilst imagining you are an actual football manager and despite being succesful, not seeing your plans and tactics carried out on the pitch!.

The match is a major event and probably the biggest part of the game, yet i just cannot watch it as it just does'nt replicate real life at all.

Why keep putting so much effort into this 2d nightmare that does'nt work, either scrap it and totally go back to the text, or fix it so watching games is not such an absolute nightmare.

I agree with BigBadBri. On the whole I like FM08, especially since the patch, but because of the backwards step in the 2D engine I've given up on the highlights and just watch the commentary, as it was before the match engine came along. Sad, but I've found FM08 to be more enjoyable since I've started doing this.

The FM07 2D engine, when fully patched, was much better than the current one. Not entirely sure how they've managed this, but it seems to be true.

Anyway, I'm hoping that the next version will show a bigger step forward than this one. It's a good game, but I'm guessing people will want a more polished product next time, with some major new features instead of just tweaks and updates.

I second you. Please SI, fix the match engine, it's currently unrealistic.
