hey guys,

ok so here in the first screenshot is my team:

Now as you can see Carl Salen is there, he is in fact the best candidate for captaincy with 19 for influence, and has been captain for the whole pre-season. Now when it comes to selecting my captain it doesnt let me choose Salen, which is very annoying as the rest of the team has rubbish influence:

in fact itll let me choose a player on a youth contract in my under 18's, but it wont let me choose the best player for the job! does anyone have any ideas of why this might be?

Go to your tactics > Team instructions > Captains > Choose your player.

Thing is i had to choose a player other than Salen for captain right at that time, so i chose Moukoko instead. Then I did what was suggested in the post above because it was the only way to get Salen as captain, and it worked. But! the whole team was unhappy that i changed my captain, and Moukoko was so peed off he wanted to leave! I cant win!
