It's a bug. It will never happen in real life.
The patch fixes this bug.

Even though a flaw, it's still a better idea than a Home Nations tournament. |

Well, we in South America don't want teams from outside the Americas playing our continental cup.
We had Japan in the 1990s and it was a fiasco. England probably would just as bad as Japan did.

It was a joke; I wasn't advocating such a thing but rather having a go at those advocating the revival of the 'Home Nations tournament' in Britain... so relax!

I know it was a joke, don't worry!
But why wouldn't you want a Home Nations tournament?

| No they wouldn't. They'd be far, far worse tbh.

What's wrong with a Home Nations Tournament? something for the other 2 summers when there's no championships on. Maybe even make it U23 and use it to select the ill-advised Olympic team

| Club football has become far bigger than international football in this country, the amount of players withdrawn by their clubs would turn it into a farce.

It's a shame as a tournament taking advantage of the British rivalries would be awesome.
But if the tournament was recognized by FIFA as an official tournament, teams would be forced to let their players play it.
