When tutoring players and they come back saying they have benefitted and how they have learned alot.
What is it they suppose to have learnt? What attribute is affected? Also when a player says he hasnt learnt anything or says he didnt get on well with the players what affacts does this have?

Tutoring players - What exactly do they learn? Post #2
Saying that a player would be a good role model will make the youngster learn and/or change their mental attitude (personality) and preferred moves. This is suited to two players whose personalities are similar or at least workable. ie - Model Pro + Fairly Professional (balanced works with most)
Saying they can just "learn" from a player will only teach them preferred moves, which is advisable if the two players in question' personalities are different.

I've seen tutors gain influence.
Generally if the tutoring goes well both players will have the other as favorite personnel which in my mind is a plus.
