FM08 is awesome after my initial doubts.

FM07 was horrible, worst version in FM's short history.

FM06 was sweet though

I probably would be playing 07 if my disc still worked, but since it doesn't I'm stuck with 08.

I'm just hoping that I experience a similar process to last year when I initially hated the game but got used to it as I played it more.

Out of interest I decided to have a go on FM07 earlier today as I haven't got round to uninstalling it.

The first thing I noticed was how much more easy to read the text was in matches. Not just the text under player names but the commentary text ! It seems like FM08 went back to the old CM font for some reason.

I played a couple of matches and it was nice to see I only had a couple of one on ones each game rather than every chance being a 1 on 1.

As I was in 2020 I noticed how I had some newgens who were actually good, unlike on FM07.

I'm going to carry on with FM08 because I got bored of my saves on FM07 and I haven't done everything I want to do with Leeds on 08 yet.

But tbh FM07 looks better and plays better.

Also FM07 works properly in a window on widescreen monitor, unlike FM08.

If you want FM08 to look similar to FM07 then check out my skin in the graphics forum.

I was wondering, to the people here sticking with FM2008, which version are you playing (unpatched, beta 1, beta 2, full patch) so it would show with version is most popular.

And to the people who say "no, not FM2007, it's the worst" - why do you think it's the worst, or at least, not as good as FM2008? Would make for some interesting comparisons and discussion.
