How did you manage to sign Thiago? Did you do it at the start of your 1st season? </BLOCKQUOTE>

I got him when i was in the CCC for around 600k, bargin. Will control your centre-mid for years to come, also could play RM if you train him a little.

Sorry I really can't help you. When you said sleeping giant I though you meant a team with soul and psaaion such as Shepshed Dymano or Burton Albion.

Forest Forest I they don't even deserve saving in Football Manager. Now Leicester thats a different matter

Pablo Piatti - 70K
Well done getting him for that price. Whenever I've gone for him with a number of saves, invariably an Italian club throws their hat in the ring with a silly bid of over a million quid.

Given I'm usually a lower league club, I doth my cap to the big club and retreat heh!!

Thanks for the support Buckers.

I've just managed to sign Cristian Sarghi (Otelul - £200K) and Cor Gillis (Anderlecht - £12K).

Also, just put a bid in for Nowland. He's actually transfer listed at only £7K . Unfortunately Buzzegoli is not in my game. Can you recommend an unknown DL?

At the same stage of my Forest game i managed to get Cathcart on loan to steady my defence. Also signed Ron Robert Zieler (gk) for peanuts from Man utd, has been excellent for me every season.

Finnbogason (free transfer released from Celtic) scored loads for me in League 1 and Championship, excellent target man.

Anderson Silva (200k from Everton) also a very good buy for my Forest team.
